Retroactive House
Rounding out our trophy delivery for champions of KeyForge tourmaments conducted under Ghost Galaxy.
The KeyChain team is happy to announce we have completed our process of retroactively awarding champion trophies for premier tournaments conducted under Ghost Galaxy prior to KeyChain’s launch in 2025. As an important note: the only items being awarded for these events are the champion (first place) trophies. Other trophies, stats, XP, or RP, are not included.
Included Events
Effective immediately for players with KeyChain accounts, champions of the following tournaments should now see their trophy total increased for those events:
2023 or 2024 World Championships
2023 or 2024 KeyForge Celebration Opens
2023 or 2024* National Championships
2023 or 2024 Vault Tours
2022 KeyForge Celebration Tournaments (the KeyChain team has decided to recognize and award these as KeyForge Celebration Opens)
Winners of 2025 Premiere Tournaments (and beyond) should continue to see their awards from these events, assuming that event is in KeyChain as a result of the complete tournament data for that event being made public or having been submitted to us. If you do not see a 2025 premier tournament posted in KeyChain and wish to see it included, please reach out to that event’s organizer and refer them to the KeyChain discord server and have them contact an admin.
*As of the time of this post, we’re still continuing to collect missing data from the 2024 National Championship season, which has not widely had results collected or centralized in one place. We will issue these awards as results come in. If you’re interested in helping us crowdsource this info, please visit this post on our Discord server.
Don’t See Your Trophy?
If you don’t see retroactive awards that you expected to have assigned to you, this is likely because your KeyChain username did not closely enough match the username on sources of record (such as Archon Arcana) for these events. If this is the case, please contact us on Discord or fill out this results request form to request a manual update.
Additionally, now that we’ve completed our retroactive pass for 2022–2024, we will not again actively search to issue awards from those events to players who have joined KeyChain from this point on. Players who do join KeyChain after this moment and wish to claim any trophies must fill out the results request form to request a manual update.
Note on Store Championships
One final note of a more local nature: Winners of 2024 and 2025 Store Championships may also be entitled to retroactive assignment of Store Champion trophies. These are being handled by each store’s event organizer. If you would like to have a Store Championship trophy awarded from these years, please contact your playgroup’s event organizer. They will be able to initiate this process with the KeyChain admin team.
