Awards for online play, a new avatar set, and more!
Charm Drop 3 is here, and it’s arriving yelling “online play is now supported on KeyChain!!”. Hey, it isn’t wrong… Check out the news if you haven’t seen for yourself yet!
KeyChain’s first post-beta Charm Drop brings with it a suite of awards (and changes to existing ones) to support online play, as well as an assortment of other goodies to unlock, including the “Instance Satisfaction” avatar set, and some items in anticipation of KeyForge Celebration 2025.
Charm Drop 3: Instance Satisfaction goes live tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4th!
New Badges
Chainlink: Link your Master Vault account to your KeyChain account. This lets you claim premier tournament results and scan into events which use Playstile using your playercard!
This has been automatically awarded to users who have already linked their accounts.
Worlds Contender: Qualify for and participate in a World Championship tournament.
KFC 2025: Attend KeyForge Celebration 2025.
New Trophies
Online Trophies trophy set:
Online Champion: Win an online tournament (with 6 or more players).
Online Runner-Up: Place 2nd in an online tournament (with 6 or more players).
Online Third Place: Place 3rd in an online tournament (with 6-10 players).
Online Top 4: Place 3rd or 4th in an online tournament (with 11 or more players).
Online Top 8: Place 5th through 8th in an online tournament (with 11 or more players).
Online Success: Win an online tournament (with 3-5 players).
National Champion trophy set:
These begin their rollout as part of a suite of trophies for National Championship winners (including previous National Championships held by Ghost Galaxy)
These join trophies for Vault Tour Champions and World Champions that were technically introduced in Charm Drop 1 but had not been awarded yet.
These will be awarded to individuals over time, as data is available.
Changes to Achievements and Badges
All achievements now support full progression via online play.
Progression has been retroactively credited for eligible online events.
The following badges may be unlocked via online play:
BSoKF, House Party, Night Moves
These still require playgroup EOs to verify and award.
